He was predeceased by: his father Robert E. Wilson; his son Christopher Wilson; and his sister Mary Jane Snyder. He is survived by: his mother Rebecca Wilson (Cupp) of Elliottsville; his daughter Connie Pinkney (Jason) of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Jaydon Pinkney, Jacob Pinkney and Ian Wilson; and his siblings, Genevieve Balsinger of Farmington, John Wilson (Tina) of Fairchance, Robert Wilson (Mable) of Farmington and Tracy Wilson of Uniontown. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
