She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freeman Humberston and Cora Mae Frazee Humberston; her husband L. Vernon Myers Sr.; her son L. Vernon "Butch" Myers, Jr.; and her brothers, Bobby, Wade, Clyde, Elmer, John and Ray.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary, Virginia Humberston, Ethel Pettis and Esther Naranjo; her children, Margaret "Peggy" Fisher (Danny) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Carol Friend (Rick), Wanda Evangelista (Leno) and Wendell Myers; her grandchildren, Cindy Walsh (Kevin) of Maricopa, AZ, Sherri Mitchell (Rich), Holly Stewart (James), R. Matthew Fischer (Ashley) and Corporal Erik Friend (Charlene); her great grandchildren, Dr. Christy Evans (Austin) of Temple, TX, Laura Walsh of Nashville, TN, Shayna Mitchell, Marissa Zahrt (Matthew), Sophia, Eli Friend and Karis Stewart; and her great great grandchildren, Killian and Gideon Evans.
