She was predeceased by: her husband Robert N. Darkes; her parents, Michael, Jr. Evangelista and Dorothy Evangelista (Moyer); her daughter Nicole Lynn Darkes; and her sister Teresa Vogt.
She is survived by: her son Matthew A. Darkes (Kristi) of Fredericksburg; and her siblings, Tina Evangelista-Eppenstein (Ed) of Laureldale, Dennis Evangelista, Sr. (Lee) of Wilkes-Barre and Tom Evangelista (Kerry) of Arizona. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
