It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan W. Lukens (Marion, Pennsylvania), born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan H. Lukens and Elizabeth A. Lukens (Cook); and his sister Dolores Petrecz. He is survived by: his wife Marion Lukens (Sabol) of Limerick; his children, Beth Patterson (late Tom) of Limerick, Alan Lukens, Jr. (Catherine) of Lansdale, Thomas A. Lukens (Carmelline) of Royersford and Donna Booz (Jim) of Skippack; his brother-in-law Joseph Petrecz; his grandchildren, Katie, Thomas, Eric, Heather, Lauren, Michael, Samantha and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Camryn, Declan, Kade, Maura, Evan and Jonathon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to: St. Teresa of Calcutta Building Fund, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.

“I am sorry to hear of Mr. Lukens passing. I believe it was from him and your family that my late former husband and I with our six year old son, rented the farmhouse along Caspian Lake (via a real estate agent) in Greensboro, Vermont, in August of 1970. It was a wonderful place to live for three years before we built our own house.”
