It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Shields of Marion Center, Pennsylvania, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Leroy and Sarah Grace Johnston (Jamison); her husband Larry Shields; her children, Ronald Shields and Linda LaVan; her brother Don Johnston; and her son-in-law Chuck LaVan.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Shields (Grace) of Mayport and Gary Shields (Marie) of Marion Center; her daughter-in-law Darlene Shields; and her brother William H. Johnston (Ruth) of Marion Center. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
