He was predeceased by: his spouse Janice Angsdt Fraser McFatridge; and his parent Carl McFatridge. He is survived by: his parent Florence Markel McFatridge; his daughter Tracy McFatridge; his significant other Deborah Strawn; his stepchildren, William Fraser (Maryanne), Charles Fraser, James Fraser and Elisabeth Fraser (Fredamon); and his siblings, Donald McFatridge, Diana Runkle (Ronald), Rebecca Cox (Robert) and Arlene Paules (William). He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
