She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert A. Walters and Freda Hauser Walters; her husband Howard "Duke" McCarty; and her siblings, Vernie McLain and Wick Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth (Anthony Simione) of Dagsboro, DE, Butch (Suzette McCarty) of Mount Joy, Ron McCarty of Marietta and Mike (Cindy McCarty) of Marietta; her grandchildren, Andy, Andrea, Kyle, Derek, Shawn and Scott; and her sister Laura Bish of Marietta. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
