With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hess (Marietta, Pennsylvania), born in Columbia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David L. Hess Jr. and Kathryn Hess (Nissley); his spouse Bonnie (Arnold); his sons, Brian Hess (Heather) of Marietta and Todd Hess (Jennifer) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Johnny, Tillie, Scarlett, Hazel and Rocco Hess; and his siblings, Dwight Hess (Cheryl) of Marietta, Joanne Siegrist (Don) of Bird, Kate Kooker (Harley) of Christiana and David L. Hess III.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Joy Mennonite Church or Lancaster County 4-H, 1383 Arcadia Rd #140, Lancaster, PA 17601.
