She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Rice and Beatrice Wehner Rice; and her siblings, Arlene Groff, James Rice, Mary Ann Geesey, Jack Rice and Michael Rice.
She is survived by: her significant other Sandy "Bertie" DeVerter of Marietta; her sisters, Patsy (Earl Binkley) of Vermillion, OH, Joan Segesser of Marietta and Linda (Butch Paris) of Marietta; and her pet Mattie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
