He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Ben F. Van Horn, Sr. and Maxine Snyder Van Horn; his spouse Harriette C. Hyde; his children, Mark Van Horn and Christine Van Horn; his grandchildren, Katherine and Alex Van Horn; and his brothers, Keith (Judy Van Horn) and John (Carol Van Horn). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
