He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Regina; his children, Trooper, Colonel Charles Hutson (Catherine), Melissa Bazley (Don) and Molly Force (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Tyler Hutson (Marleigh), Rebecca Rupert (Ian), Charles Hutson, Grace Hutson, Betty Bazley, Brantley Force and Hunter Force; his great grandchildren, Callan Hutson, Henry Rupert, Hutson Rupert and Charlotte Rupert; his close friend Joe Rodgers; his pets, Jake and Sadie; his stepfather Marion Filetti; and his parents-in-law, Regis and Dorothy Regina.
His family requests, in lieu of flowers, donation be made in his memory to the Marienville Rod and Gun Club.
