It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne K. Best Sr. of Marienville, Pennsylvania, born in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Best and Frances Swartz Best; and his siblings, Marlin, Lloyd, Paul, Larry, Clyde, James, Roland Best, Marie McQueeney and Linda Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Jane I. Hargenrader; his children, Debra King (Chuck) of Rimersburg, PA, Wayne Best Jr. of Rimersburg, PA, Amy Best (Ron Tribley) of Clarion, PA and Victoria Best (Dan Irwin) of Shippenville, PA; his grandchildren, Angie Fiechuk (Andy), Jason Best (Kari), Ashley West, Lauren Cora (Travis) and Addison Irwin; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Dakota, Andrea, Rowen and Lyncoln; and his siblings, Sylvia Blasdale of Maryland, Karen Gresh of North East, PA, Kathy Brockway (Tom) of California, Robert Best (Linda) of North East, PA and Reginald Best of Ripley, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
