She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Guthrie and Isabel Motter Guthrie; her former spouse Ursel Shaffer; her husband Raymond Murphy; her son James Shaffer; her siblings, Henry Guthrie, Bruce Guthrie, Gary Guthrie, James McGlaughlin, Betty Moyer and Jamie McGlaughlin; and her close friend Richard Sipes.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Shaffer (Melinda); her daughter-in-law Cindy Shaffer; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Tori), Justin, Victoria and Anglesea; her great grandchildren, Kendrick, Conner and Kobe; and her brother Phillip Guthrie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home (140 Cherry St, Marienville, PA 16239). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
