It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Phillips (Marianna, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Phillips and Celeste Phillips (Moore); his siblings, Ronald, Clarence, Robert, Homer, Benjamin, Edith Moore Shrontz, Jessie Phillips and Janice Forney; his grandson Jesse Carl Phillips; and his daughter-in-law Kathleen Jones Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ansell Phillips; his children, Roy Phillips (Sherry) of McCormick, SC, Byron Phillips (Sandra) of Perkiomenville, PA, Susan (Raymond), Chaplain Carl Mark Phillips (Deanna) of Springfield, VA, Jane Raihala (Bill) of Hammond, WI and Saundra Linton (Greg) of Chetek, WI.; his grandchildren, Lauren Cartwright (Ian) of Farmington Hills, MI, Jared Phillips of Mendoza, Argentina, Rachel Griesinger (Michael) of San Marcos, CA, Alice Thornhill (Anthony) of Sellersville, PA, Sally Fox (Michael) of Pottstown, PA, Abraham Phillips of Perkiomenville, PA, Noah Phillips (Katie) of Perkiomenville, PA, Amber Rich (Steve) of Perkiomenville, PA, Clark Hagerich of Perkiomenville, PA, Leah Phillips of South Bend, IN, Lynnea Phillips of Bloomington, IN, Luke Phillips (April) of Springfield, VA, Celeste Raihala of Hammond, WI, Susan Bingham (James) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Nellie Hutchinson (Austin) of Hudson, WI, Lucy Richmond (Elijah) of Xenia, OH, Mick Raihala of Hammond, WI, Ann Raihala of Hammond, WI, Abram Linton of Green Lane, PA, Benjamin Linton of Chetek, WI, Samuel Linton of Mosinee, WI, Dora Linton of Mosinee, WI and Eve Linton of Chetek, WI.; and his sisters, Pauline Shuman and Bonnie Phillips. Funeral services and internment will be private, for immediate family only, due to the Coronavirus.
