He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Hembree and Lanie McGhee Hembree; his children, Charlotte Hembree and Charles Hembree Jr.; his siblings, Dewey Hembree, James Hembree, May Wilson and Della Jobe; and his grandson Christopher Hembree.
He is survived by: his children, David Hembree and Gene Hembree; and his siblings, Fred L. Hembree, Jean Jarvis and Mabel Torres. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
