He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldron Engel and Gatha Engel (Wynkoop); and his brother Wayne "Bud" Engel. He is survived by: his daughters, Mindy Engel Hoffmann (Dan Hoffmann) and Wendy Hileman (Dane); his grandchildren, Courtney Riseborough (John Johnson) of Manchester, NH., Zachary Hileman of Manchester, NH. and Noah Hileman of Manchester, NH.; his significant other Winnie Neff; his former wife Sharon Engel (Hodson); his sister-in-law Donna Engel; his nephew Tom Engel (Christy); and his niece Christina Slaton (Donnie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
