He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blackwell and Ruth Blackwell (Moore); and his spouse Maytha Blackwell (Ives). He is survived by: his children, William G. Blackwell and Barbara Ann Webb of Mansfield; and his siblings, Marion Witherow of Wellsboro, Irvin of Alabama and Ferlin Scarborough of Alabama. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a great grandson.
