Scott Bixby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Bixby of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Scott shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scott farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Britton Bixby and Joyce Bixby (Greenough); and his brother Brent Bixby. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Virgie" Bixby (Lim); his stepchild Ellaine Simeon (Jonathon); his son Maxwell Bixby of Clarks Summitt, PA; his stepson Eliot Long (Elizabeth) of Philadelphia, PA; his brothers, Mark Bixby of Houston, TX, Chris (Susan Bixby) and Jon (Marie Bixby); his sister-in-law Yohanna Bixby of Modesto, CA; and also Mary Melosi of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (7 Sherwood St, Mansfield, PA 16933).
