She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Roy and Marian Sherman (Johnston); and her husband Kenneth Root. She is survived by: her children, Joe Miles (Cora) of Wellsboro, PA and Julie Welch (Kevin) of Marion, OH; her grandchildren, Cody, Jenessa, Lauryn, Jalynn Miles, Logan Welch (Jennafer), Katelyn, Mikayla and Lucas Welch; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn and Willa Welch.
