He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McCarthy and Julia McCarthy; his wife Ann T. McCarthy (Labosky); and his siblings, Leo, John McCarthy, Louise Warren and Helen Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Frank McCarthy (Sara) of Mansfield, PA, David McCarthy (Brenda) of Lewisburg, PA and Donna Krause (Wayne) of Middleburg, PA; and his brother Francis McCarthy (Shirley) of Gillett, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
