He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shepheard and Rhetta Shepheard (Hill); his wife Charmin; and his stepson Kenneth Snider. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Shepheard (Heather) of Durham, NC, Angel Shepheard of Elkland, PA and Jennifer Shepheard (Donald Vertoske) of Telford, PA; and his stepchildren, Kyle Snider of Florida and Kimberly Graham (Joe).
