She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Pequignot and June Pequignot (Monks). She is survived by: her children, Amy Sheridan of Mansfield, Seth Sheridan of Nashville, Chad Sheridan (Jessica) of Knoxville and Brooke Sheridan of Missoula; her grandchildren, Adam, Brennan, Brooks, Ashlyn, Reagan and Grady; and her great grandchildren, Kaelee and Leah.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Dixie's honor be made to either, the Mansfield Public Library, 71 N. Main St., Mansfield, PA 16933, or the Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 US-6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
