He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sianis and Fotine Sianis (Gerasemo); and his siblings, Gus Sianis, John Sianis, Stella Morris (Sianis) and Calliope Sianis.

He is survived by: his son James "Jim" Sianis; his wife Sarah Sianis; his daughter Frances "Fran" Thompson of Douglassville, PA; his grandchildren, Jonathan "Jon" Thompson, Zoe Thompson, Louis Sianis and Alexander; his sister-in-law Mary Sianis of Reading; and also Blake Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
