He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos M. Groff and Ella Groff (Gerlach); his wife Ruth E. Groff (Brenner); and his brother Wilmer G. Groff. He is survived by: his children, R. Diane Lausman of Lancaster, Karen L. Halstead (Edward A.) of Manheim and Jeffrey N. Groff (Christine) of Cambridge Springs, PA; his granddaughters, Andrea M. Stauffer (Joseph) of Manheim and Alison M. Halstead (Corey Gill) of Manheim; his great grandchildren, Weston and Brycen Stauffer; and his sister Pauline Gerhart of St. Anne's Home.
