He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Benton and Susan Benton (Feathers); his children, Susan Speelman (Doug) of New Oxford, Joseph Benton (Veronica) of Dover, Thomas Benton (Judy) of Etters and Bernard Benton (Carol) of Dover; his brothers, Dennis Benton (Meriam) and Larry Benton (Pat); his son David C. Benton; and his sisters, Goldie Delores Walters and Ethel Benton. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
