He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Walker and Elva Walker (Cohrs); his wife Mae C. Shelley (Keefer); his stepdaughter Pam Shelley; and his brothers, Neil Walker, Chester Walker, Warren Walker Sr., Clair "Dutch" Walker, Carl Walker Sr. and Charles Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Shelley Sr. of Milton, Alan Shelley Sr. of Milton, Tina Shelley of Milton and Melody Herrold of Georgia; his stepchildren, Grant I. Shelley of Danville and Debra Guisewite of Milton; and his sister Connie Stahl of Milton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren.
