She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleon Ells and Nina Ells (Palmiter); her spouse Leslie W. Ricketts; her sons, Howard, Leslie "Babe" and Calvin Ricketts; her son-in-law Dr. Robert C. Schelin; and her brothers, Lewis Ells and Carl Ells.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Ricketts Schelin; and her granddaughter Leslie Ricketts Heffernan (Clark). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. - Belmont (17 Schuyler St, Belmont, NY 14813). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Belmont United Methodist Church (7 Park Cir, Belmont, NY 14813).
