He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr Farrell and Antonetta "Dou" Mongelluzzo Farrell; his wife Patricia; and his brother-in-law Jerry Sowers of Mt Pleasant. He is survived by: his children, Kim Gidaro (Pete) of Harrison City and Karen Farrell of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Derek Ciarkowski of Greensburg, Amanda Ciarkowski of Newport News, VA and Juliana Gidaro of Harrison City; and his sister Cynthia Sowers of Mt Pleasant.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Judes Hospital.
