She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernard Woody and Betty Woody (Pence); and her brother Bernie. She is survived by: her son Donald Benedit III (Jaime) of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; her granddaughters, Kendall and Reagan Benedict; and her sister Sheila Smith (Richard Smith) of Falls Church, Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
