He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce M. Uffner (Sheetz); his parents, Joseph Uffner and Mary Uffner (Lance); and his siblings, Carl, Thomas, Eugene, Joseph Uffner and Margaret Roof.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa, Daniel (Donna), Mary Jo Leiss (William), Eric (Susan), Janet Tucker (Paul), Greg (Linda), Beth Bowman (Paul), Michael (Lynn), Kathryn Winters (Terry) and Joseph (Wanda); and his siblings, James, Francis, Bernadette Saylor, Gertrude Nye and Joan Hicks. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
