He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sowash and Emma Sowash (Whiteman); and his siblings, John, Millard, Charles, Clark, Edmund, Morris, Robert Sowash, Sara Sofko, Helen Recknor (Sundry) and Ruth Siegel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
