It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Lloyd Byers Jr. (Manor, Pennsylvania), born in Franklintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester L. Byers, Sr. and Grace Byers (Hess); and his wife Mary Jean Byers (Stauffer). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hollingshead (Jim) of Thomasville, Chester L. Byers, III (Kathryn) of West York, Kevin Byres of Winterstown, Kimberly Ford (Gerald Ford, III) of Dover and Amy Grandstaff (Jasen) of Loganville; and his sisters, Delores Benfer of Harrisburg and Nancy Hess (Dean) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
