He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Shomo and Ida Shomo (Rhimes); his wife Arlene P. Shomo (Smith); his son Robert J. Shomo; and his siblings, Jack Shomo, Hazel and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda L. Babcock (Theodore Burkholder), Lee C. Shomo, Lynn E. Shomo, William A. Shomo, Jr. (Lacie) and Stacy Shomo (Donald Stull); and his sisters, Helen and Dora. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
