He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard F. Bergey and Edith Bergey (Landis); his son Philip Bergey; his granddaughter Connie Stoltzfus; his great grandchild Jordan; and his siblings, Lester, Henry Bergey and Evelyn Detweiler.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Bergey (Godshall); and his children, David Bergey (Rachel) of Ephrata, Timothy Bergey (Ruth Hope) of Fayette, NY, James Bergey (Lois) of Barnett, MO, Steven Bergey of Bethel, John Bergey (Charlotte) of Stevens, Joseph Bergey (Caroline) of Manns Choice, Robert Bergey (Erica) of Sagle, ID, Joy Stoltzfus (Daniel) of Morris, Lois Martin (Willis Jr.) of Wellsboro, Mary Landis (Joel) of Richfield, Regina Burkholder (Wilbur) of Bethel and Rose Weaver (Daryl) of Manns Choice. He is also survived by 60 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren.
