He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Hyde and Carrie Hyde (Holler); and his wife Mary C. Hyde (Turner). He is survived by: his son Carl A. (Penny); his grandson Wesley (Diana); his stepgrandson Joseph Crocker (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Austin and Isaiah Crocker; his sons, Wayne E. Hyde (Diane L. Dull), Tulls Hill, Bedford and Larry O. (Stephanie); and his granddaughter Vanesa R. Hyde. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

It is suggested that those in attendance observe the recommendations pertaining to wearing a mask and social distancing.

“On this Memorial day, 2024, I am reflecting on my previous life in Bedford County, PA. That area and it's people will always have a tender spot in my heart. That includes Ray Hyde, a former country neighbor. The last time I visited with him was the summer of 2013. He was a peaceful , hardworking man. My sincere belated condolences to Carl, Wayne and Larry and your families. You are blessed to have such a father. Carol Burgess”
