He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Dutch" Fochtman and Elizabeth "Dolly" Fochtman (Ellenberger); and his brothers, James, William and Alfred (Myra Albright).
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia L. Fochtman of Schellsburg, Stephen P. (Joy), Michael S. Fochtman (Gail) and Christopher C. (Amy); his grandchildren, Luke, Lindsay, Megan, Michael, Brittany, Gabe and Evelyn; and his sister Joyce (Ray Lohr). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
