She was predeceased by: her parents, Efren and Margarita of Silva; and her daughter Natushka Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Gene McMichael; her daughter Monica; her son-in-law Alan Strait; her grandson Austin Strait; and her children, Marcia Ferrell, Marianna Heath, Alex, Jan McMichael and Labrador Miss Mandy.
