He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend James R. Dowhen and Muriel Dowhen (DeVogel); his wife Colette (Richcreek); his daughter Amanda Zuschmidt (Brian) of Lancaster; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Dowhen; his grandchildren, Owen, Chase, Wyatt, Mackenzie and Emilie; his sister Janice Jensen of Lititz; and his nephews, Jeremy and Nathan Jensen.
