He was predeceased by: his parents, Elam D. Snavely and Hilda M. Hallman Snavely; and his son Keith L. Snavely. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne M. Bergeron Snavely; his children, Claudette M. Snavely (Eric R. Gilbert) of Manheim and Troy L. Snavely (Dawn M. Holdridge) of Lititz; his daughter-in-law Tammy L. Breniser Snavely of Mount Union; and his sister Judy A. Musser (Harold Z.) of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
