He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Epler and Anna F. Zapcic Epler; his former wife Barbara "Snook" Cooley Epler; and his brothers, Frank "Boots", Raymond and William.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Ann Tusa Epler; his children, Robert M. Epler, Jr. (Erika) of Annville, Tina M. Geyer (Douglas) of Dunedin, FL, Scott T. Epler (Jennifer) of Hummelstown and Tracy A. Capp (Edward) of Piketown; his grandchildren, Maggie Epler, Elijah Epler, Sabrina Geyer, Scott "Dewey" Epler II, Shawna West, Zoe Epler, Jorrdyan Epler, Adeian Capp and Kodie Capp; his great grandchildren, Adalee and Ocyous West; his brother Kenneth R. Epler (Ann) of Palmyra; and his sister-in-law Edith Shaeffer Epler of Hummelstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home (114 W Main St, Hummelstown, PA 17036). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (16 S Oak Grove Rd, West Hanover Township, PA 17112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
