He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Pinker" Bentz and Helen Bentz; his wife Genevieve; his brothers, Clarence Bentz and Donald Bentz; his children, Karen Ashbrook and Timothy Bentz; and his grandchild Kelly Moyer.
He is survived by: his daughter Gayle Bentz (Harrisburg); his children-in-law, Lonnie Ashbrook of Hudson, FL and Sally Bentz (Manheim); his grandson Adam Bentz (Maureen); his great grandchildren, Danica Moyer, Madelynn Moyer (Harrisburg) and Eleanor Bentz (Annville); his great great grandchild Koda Bentz (Harrisburg); and his siblings, Vincent Bentz (Phyllis) and Ruth Baylor (Donald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lebanon VA Hospice.
