He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Heister and Eunice Anderson Heister. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Byer Heister; his children, Linda Tomlinson of Lancaster and Curtis (Barbara Fasnacht Heister) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Vanessa Heaps, Camryn Heister and Logan Heister; his great grandchildren, Dominick, Mia and Dante; and his siblings, Marlin (Lena Heister) of Mattawana, Ruth Goddard of Middletown and Anna Fitting of Harrisburg.
