She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Stauffer Jr.; her nephews, David Beigel of Kettering, OH and Steven Clark of Lancaster; her niece Amy Johnson of Tampa, FL; and her pet Willow.

She is survived by: her son John C. Stauffer, III (Heather) of East Petersburg; her granddaughter Sophia; her daughter Wendy Forshey (Jason Forshey) of Lancaster; her sister Anne V. Beigel (Nicholas Beigel); and her nieces and nephews, Bob, Donna of Kettering, OH, Helen Beigel of Centerville, OH, Patricia Clark, Stephanie and Chad.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to Lancaster Catholic High School Music & Arts Department, 650 Juliette Avenue, Lancaster, Pa 17601.
