She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Amig and Elsie Swank Amig; her stepfather George Sites; her husband John W. Ruoss; her daughter Debbie Jo Ruoss; and her sister Virginia Kessler.
She is survived by: her son John Steven (Rita Ruoss); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Paige (Derek Ecenrode) and Leah Mariah Ruoss; her great grandchildren, Soren Hagen and Jackson Monroe Ecenrode; and her siblings, Terry (Pat Amig), Bill (Donna Amig) and Mary Lee (Dean Crowl).
