It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine I. Ella of Manheim, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shirk and Mary Strohm Shirk; her husband Ralph Ella Sr.; her son-in-law Richard Ressler; and her siblings, Jane, Harvey and Carl.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Jr. (Julie Lightner Ella), Debra A. (Mark W. Romberger) and Linda Ressler of Wasilla, AK; her grandchildren, Melissa (James High), Daniel (Suzanne Ella), Amanda (Justin Steffek), Abby Romberger, Casey (Tracy Ressler) and Kellie (Jaden Alvstad); her great grandchildren, Nicole, Travis, Hunter, Madison and Samuel; and her siblings, Warren, Mahlon, Paul, Marie, Patricia and Barbara.
