He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. and Mary B. Martin; his siblings, Paul Martin, Clair Martin, Carl Martin, Elsie Martin, Norma Groff, Esther Farrell and Lee Martin; and his grandchildren, Lydia Martin and Mike Lehman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Watts Martin; his children, Karen (Dennis Lehman), Joseph Jr. (Joan Lapp Martin), Joyce (Glenn Lehman), Sue Ann (Scott Senter) and Jerald Martin; and his siblings, Dorothy Martin, Elvin Martin, Mary Ann Byer and Irene Reed. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
