He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Hassenbein (Bird) of Manheim; his parents, Don Hassenbein and Elke Hassenbein (Berlin) of Palmyra; his brother James Hassenbein (Diana); his nieces and nephews, Max, Elizabeth Hassenbein, Alex Hassenbein, Katrina Hershey, Lance Hershey, Melodie, Jessica, Meghan, Mikayla, Caitlin Bird, Joseph, Ethan Bird and Tori Bird; and his great-nephews, Brody, WIlliam and Colin Pfluke.
