She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Maguire and Sarah Kerrigan Maguire. She is survived by: her husband William P. McCarthy; her daughters, Deirdre (Melville Osborne) of Sparta, NJ and Maura McCarthy of Reston, VA; and her sister Sheila Maguire of Brooklyn, NY.. She is also survived by her three grandsons.
