She was predeceased by: her husband Carl G. Shelly; her parents, John Herr and Leona Morris Herr; and her siblings, Claude, Barry Herr and Doris Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra L. Balmer and Cheryl L. (Donald Wenger); her grandchildren, Jill (Adam Wright), Erica (Ryan Gerlach), Shelley (David Brigham) and John (Ashley Balmer); her sisters, Betty Shumaker and Jackie (William Minnich); and her brother-in-law Jack (Gracie Smith). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
