He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Whittemore and Bessie Whittemore; and his daughters, Dixie Bush and Vicky Schaeffer. He is survived by: his son James E. "Jimmy" Whittemore Jr. of Manheim; his son-in-law Dennis Bush of Manheim; and his sisters, Helen Herr of Penryn and Barbara Hauck of Reading. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
